Introduction/Purpose
Week 5 will have you exploring test-taking strategies, test anxiety, and memory, along with a tour of our LRC and campus resources. Test-taking in college can be nerve-racking since tests are usually worth more points than other assignments so they have a higher stress factor. Preparing yourself properly to take a test can be tricky for some students when poor study habits have existed in the past. Now is your time to be that great student you know you are and study well for your classes and those many tests that you will be taking over the course of your college career.
You will also be exploring what our LRC offers for students in the way of help with studying, research, and other important tools. Our college website also contains valuable information on your degree requirements, student jobs, and other helpful resources.
